About Us

Natural gas from northern British Columbia is transported by Coastal GasLink to the LNG Canada facility in Kitimat, British Columbia, where LNG Canada prepares it for export to international markets by liquefying the gas, also known as LNG. Our responsibility is to assure the safe transportation of natural gas; Coastal GasLink will not be generating or exporting natural gas or LNG. Natural gas will be transported through the pipeline at a rate of 2.1 billion cubic feet per day (bcf/d), with the capacity to supply up to 5 bcf/d, depending on the number of compressor and metering facilities developed.
