Norcan Consulting Ltd is a privately owned archaeological and cultural heritage consulting firm. Norcan was established in 1994 and has offered its clients various technical and professional services. The company office is in Prince George, British Columbia, with operations being conducted throughout the province. Fieldwork will be located throughout Central British Columbia and is scheduled to begin in May 2023 and end early to mid-October. Depending on changing schedules and weather conditions, this may be extended or shortened. Your duties would be to carry out archaeological surveys, test excavation and mitigate excavation in a cultural resources management setting under the direction of the Field Crew Supervisor. Performing other duties as required, including but not limited to artifact analysis, reporting, and research. Wages range from 25.00 to 40.00 an hour based on qualifications and experience.
