Experience in steep slope operations is necessary. Experience in cable winch operations would be an asset. Specialization in commercial thinning is preferred. Ability to assess site and terrain and operate heavy equipment on steep slopes. Capability to perform minor repairs and maintenance on logging equipment. Skills in operating a forwarder would be an asset. High school education is required. Proficiency in English is required.
