Description : Selling a 1980 Yamaha XT 500 with some fixes and upgrades: New bush guards for protection. Partial restoration on the seat. A new chain for better performance. Added a kill switch for safety. Replaced the clutch lever, grips, and throttle cable. The bike has undergone significant repairs to make it run smoothly. It usually starts on the first or second kick. Comes with the original aluminum tank, which has been patched for a small hole and doesn't leak anymore. It needs a headlight and rear brakes. Requires two new spokes in the rear wheel. Overall, the tires are in good condition, and the engine has less than 3000 km on the odometer. It's a sturdy bike but needs a few more fixes, which I plan to do myself. Open to trades or selling for $2000 or best offer.
